Effect Detroit has identified the need for this support on Detroit’s west side in the Virginia Park community.

We will work to create a more vibrant community in the Virginia Park area by accomplishing the following:

Developing high-quality mixed-income housing and rehabilitation of existing housing stock with an anti-displacement focus for existing residents

Establishing an A+ rated cradle-to-college education pipeline

Establishing comprehensive community wellness resources and opportunities
